for the first time in months...

... you're flying. again, experiencing the bustling airport atmosphere, enjoying the coffee and reading the newspaper before the plane takes off. it's so normal meanwhile, and it has been so exciting nearly twelve(!) years ago. from above, the city you're visiting still looks like an enlighted, starlike structure. you're staying only two days, but those very sunny days pay off nonetheless. to convince yourself that people you got to know years ago have settled, have accumulated a certain economic wealth and are obviously satisfied with their lives calms down the soul and just leaves you with a good feeling. though there are some shadows in every lifeline as well, to be honest.

on the personal side: to walk through the city, to remember old places, old stories - to sum it up: an unbelievable experience - is prove enough that there is more in life than work. and this should be kept in mind.
